In August, in Da Nang, Vietnam, the ASEAN AI Hackathon 2026 Grand Finals and the ASEAN AI Summit were held as scheduled. Themed "AI Empowering a Resilient ASEAN: Innovation, Sustainability, and Human-Centered Development," the event was co-organized by Passage to ASEAN (P2A) and the ASEAN AI Council (AAIC), covering 11 ASEAN countries and over 150 universities, making it a major AI event in Southeast Asia. At the main forum of the ASEAN AI Summit, Minto Technology's overseas product manager delivered a keynote speech. The speech articulated a core thesis: AI is moving from "answering questions" to "executing tasks," and intelligent agents will become the infrastructure of the digital economy. During the summit, Minto Technology signed centralized cooperation agreements with five Vietnamese universities, establishing an AI education cooperation network that spans both northern and southern Vietnam and bridges comprehensive universities with vocational colleges. The signatory institutions include Duy Tan University, Ho Chi Minh City College of Science and Technology, Tra Vinh University, Dong Thap Community College, and the University of Danang - University of Economics. The cooperation scope ranges from event sponsorship and joint laboratory development to order-based talent cultivation, digital teaching material creation, and the implementation of the OPC developer community—forming a well-structured and replicable "campus AI agent ecosystem" cooperation model.
